March 19th

I got my consultation appointment today and I found out my insurance cover the surgery. I know cigna has a pretty strict guideline but I am pretty much and I have done pretty all the guidelines for them. Even though my appointment is a month away, I am very nervous

Hi eddygarcia13,

I just started my journey, I had my consultation at the end of Feb. my insurance has approved everything and the doctor gave me the thumbs up to proceed. al I have to do is have a few blood test and an upper GI. my biggest obstacle right now is my primary care physician. She is not token on the idea, but hopefully she will come around. Iam looking at having my surgery the first of April, because I am going on vacation the last week in March and didn't want to have the surgery before then.

I would love to keep in touch with you and share our progress together since you are starting out like me. Best of luck, look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Paul. I have was scared when I ask my primary physician because we talk about before and I was scared to go through with it because I just already had surgery to removed my gallbladder but when I told her about wanting to do it she was so excited for me. Some of my family members thought I didn't need it because I really don't look I weigh 300lbs and that my health was not good but now they are finally understand and are happy for me. I hope your doctor will understand and will come around and support you. I hoping to have the surgery in may because I just started working at a new job and give me time to save up some money lol.

Best of luck to you too and look forward from hearing back Paul
