My endoscopy was MISERABLE!!!!! They were supposed to "twilight" me but the surgeon didn't want to overload me. So, I was wide awake during the whole procedure. I was drooling, my nose was running and my eyes started watering. The nurse anesthetist told the doctor twice that I wasn't "out" enough but he continued.

When I mentioned it to him after, he said that what killed Joan Rivers and I should be happy that he didn't overmedicate me.
