I am 12 days post op and when I eat I don't feel full and I can keep eating and eating but I dont in case I am sick.

Does this mean my operations hasn't worked? I don't feel Hungary and have no desire for food but i fancy really naughty food.

It's really worrying me that I don't no when to stop as I never feel full

Don't push it!! I also feel as if I can keep eating, but we do not want stretch out our new precious tummies. Just keep measuring your portions and keep track of your protein. Pay close attention to the reason why you eat; is it real hunger or an emotion or reaction to something.

I feel that way also. I am 2 weeks post op and on pureed foods, and when I eat I find that if it
wasn't for that pain I get under my rib cage when I am eating (which I have come to welcome cause
it makes me stop right away) then I probably would go on eating because I do not feel satisfied.
This has worried me since last week when I began to get an appetite. I also sometimes crave foods
I have no business thinking of and that to me is extremely scary. I really hope that for me this
is something that will pass cause if not then I do not see how this surgery will work for me.
I wish you luck on finding a way to deal with this. If you come across any ideas, then please
pass them along to me.

I'm waiting to schedule my date, but this is a fear I have, too. Since I've been relatively strict on my pre-op diet, I have been having strange food dreams lol. Once I had a dream that I was at a carnival and everyone around me was eating cotton candy and I was held hostage by a clown and couldn't eat anything.

It freaked me out so bad.

Good thing I'm re-connecting to my dear old therapist! Haha
