Foamies or dumping?

My first real complication yesterday. I am on puréed foods, Proteins only, and my NUT suggested canned meat or fish. I had tried a couple of bites of canned salmon on Friday, no problem. Yesterday I had some for lunch. It just didn't feel right. Not sure if I ate too fast, too much, or just the wrong thing. About three minutes later I started throwing up, and spent half an hour in nausea and dry heaves.

So was that dumping? Or just "foamies"... I certainly threw up lots of foam. Yuck!

Doing well otherwise... I'm down over 30 pounds, so I'm not complaining.

I'm almost 15 weeks out, don't have hardly any problems with food. I've never thrown up but I had foamies twice. It's just a bunch of saliva that you basically have to spit out and it's very thick. My doc said that is the precurser to throwing up but I haven't got any further than the foamies. Can't even remember what caused them except one time it was pork that I ate too fast and too big of pieces.
