After being approved

I just got approved for the lap and surgery Thursday I was wondering how long after you get approved is a date set up. I am really hoping that I can get it done by February 14-16 I have the week of the 16th off. The doctors I hope will call me Monday. Do any of you guys think it's still possibly that I wil be able to get it then it should I not have my hopes up?

Thanks

It's going to depend on the pre-op requirements of your doctor. Some require a 4 week pre-op diet, some a 2 week, and some a single day. For me, I was approved on December 30. My doctor called on Jan 6 and I was scheduled for Jan 20. It went quickly! Good luck!!

Mine was quickly approved and my surgery was scheduled a week out. Good luck! Keep calling them and bugging them! :-)

My doctors office called to schedule the same day I was approved, on Jan 13th. My pre-op appt was on Jan 22, I was put on a two week pre-op diet and surgery is Feb 5th. Good luck and I wish you a fast process!
