On to the waiting game

I completed my 6 month diet yesterday. I lost 15 lbs. It was submitted to insurance today! Now 2 week wait for insurance response. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

@@Flygirl123 There is a really good chance that it won't take your insurance company 2 weeks to respond. Once my paperwork was submitted, my insurance company (United Healthcare) responded in less than 36 hours.

Take this time to learn as much as you can on what your post surgery life will be like. It will make the time go faster, and you'll really be glad you did.

Best of luck on your journey!

Thanks for the encouragement. I also have United health care. Wow that would be awesome if I got a response that quickly! I wasn't looking forward to the 6 month wait. But it did give me time to start making the needed changes for life post sleeve.

The waiting is so frustrating! Hopefully your team is a lot more efficient than my team and they don't sit on your case for weeks because they are just inept.

Have you heard anything yet? That's awful. She said she submitted to insurance the same day I faxed her the form from my dr. She emailed me to let me know. So thankfully, I believe she did submitted it. I thought it would take a couple of days but I guess not.

Hi I was told it would be a couple of weeks for approval and I was approved the next day. Don't worry your hard work over the last couple of months will pay off.

The next day!!!!! That's wonderful.. I'm excited to join the loser bench.. But I'm not going to stress over 2 week wait.. I've done everything they require so now I gotta have faith that I will all work out.
