had endoscopy today... question

Hi all, had my endoscopy today. Went well. The doc said I had undigested food which I shouldn't cuz I had not eaten since 7pm. He thinks it is due to my diabetes causing slow emptying. There is no treatment for this if it is the case, just getitng my numbers lowered which is why i even considered VSG to rid myself of my worsening diabetes.

Anyway, my point is. He wants me to have a gastic empyting test. I have gone through so many radiologic and other tests for this and if there is no treatment id prefer not to.

Think my surgeon will insist, even if the reasons for the endoscopy come back all clear.?

I am so close to getting a date and its so exhausting!!
