I have a friend that was going through the same program, same doctor as I was. Turned out that I got through the process first. Her whole family came to visit me in the hospital. She supported me and now, it's my turn. Since I've been through it, I can answer questions and provide support. Great for both of us!

I work in a large hospital and there were four of us friends that work there together that had the gastric sleeve surgery. We were each two weeks apart. We all have been very supportive of each other and it has been awesome. We were able to check on each other while we were in the hospital, share recipes and food ideas. We have been a wonderful support system. We are all between six and eight months out and our weight loss has varied from 80 pounds to 135 and there hasn't been any jealousy regarding that. I am so blessed to have experienced this with them.
