Surgery approved! April 21st date.

I'm so excited, now to try and get rid of about 25 lbs. before April 21st. Now sure how that's going to go but I'm trying.

My surgery is scheduled for 3/2 and I have to lose 15 pounds. I downloaded the app MyFitnessPal and have been using it regularly. It's really helped! I am down 10 pounds in 7 weeks! Good luck and congrats on your approval! :-)

Thank you. I downloaded it before Christmas, I was doing really good then a few things happened to derail me. I'm trying to get back into the groove of things. Exercise is my major problem. I just can't get going with it. I've got to get it done because I don't want my surgery pushed back. Good luck to you also. My fitness pal ID is harleyamb if you want to add me. Sounds like your doing great!

My bet is you can and will loose the weight. I had to loose 30 lbs. instead of thinking about 30 lbs, I concentrated on loosing 3 lbs a week. I cut out all carbs and sugars. Started drinking 2 protein shakes a day and one regular meal. Did cheat a couple of days and had carbs and sweets, but would only set me back a day. I went to see my nutritionalist every 2 weeks to weigh and hold me accountable. Good luck to both of you. I don't regret one bit the surgery.

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm trying to break my late night snacking!
