Been a while for me, but pudding and yogurt saved my life! Of course, you'll go for the sugar free stuff.

Also some low fat smoothies. I think Dannon Lite and Fit are some good ones.

When is your surgery?

  • Author

My surgery was Jan 13th, so I'm exactly a week out! I'm so tired of the liquids and the nausea...

Are you nauseous from meds? Can you have any Popsicles yet?

  • Author

Nauseous all the time, after I drink my shake, my water, broth. Pain meds I rarely take, last one was Thurs. I go to dr tmrw so they can see what's going on. .. :/

How was your appointment today?

Can I suggest seeing a reflexologist to take away the pain and nauseous? I did not believe it could work and it was like magic, I feel like a new person all my nauseous and pain has left the building!!

My appointment: they removed more fluid and told me to stay off the protein for a few days, they think the protein is yet too much for my stomach, as it's healing. So I did just that yesterday after appt, no nausea.

That's great! I hadn't heard about "too much protein", but it makes sense. How much were you getting?
