Losing Patience!!!

This has been the hardest thing ever!!! I have had 3 fills and STILL do not fill restricted. Then nurse told me on my last fill after the barium that it looked like perfect restriction...not! I am losing weight but I have done this completly on my own.I am hungry 2hrs after meals and it is pretty much torture not to give in to temptations when I am soo hungry.I eat tons of protein hoping this would help but it has not.I am just getting impatient and wanted this weight off..yesterday! Has anyone ever not felt restriction after 3 fills????

I had about 5 fills and was able to eat a double cheeseburger (not my proudest moment). After my most recent fill (the 6th) I finally have really good restriction. Don't worry you will get there.

Has anyone ever not felt restriction after 3 fills????

I'm on my 5th fill and up to 3.5 ccs in a 4 cc band and barely have any restriction. I'm going back in another week for another fill. Let's hope 6 is my luck number. This does require a good deal more patience than I anticipated.

I wasn't restricted after my third either. It takes time. As hard as it sounds, you really need to have patience with this.

I've had 5 fills to get to 2.5 and I can still eat bread (probably half a sandwich, I can eat a McDonalds cheeseburger) etc. I've gotten to goal weight in the time its taken me to seek good restriction so I dont really care anymore, but I can sense that it would only take one more tiny one and I'd be there. I just no longer really need to be. I'm still thinking about it though because I'm a healthy, normal weight now, but at the high end of my range and I really would like to still be 6 or 7kg lighter.
