First dr appt tomorrow!

I'm so nervous and excited! I just set up my first doctors appointment to get my referral to a surgeon! I know this is a baby step at the beginning of a very long process..but it just became real. This is the first step towards no more co workers suggesting plus size stores to shop at, offering me low calorie snacks and asking if I want their fat jeans because they're "too big on them"

I'm ready for this! Also very scared lol

Congratulations, @@bandabear22! It's a journey, not a destination, and you're taking the huge first step. Best of luck to you!! This group is great for helping navigate the process. Cheers!

Bandabear,

What kind of friends are these? Do they try to hurt your feelings or are they just clueless? Just wait until you are thinner than they are. Maybe they can use your old pants!

They aren't really friends :/ it's one woman. Idk if she's mean or just really ignorant but one of these days I'm gonna snap at her
