I'm from Burlington County. Did you have your surgery yet?

How are you doing? Idid you have issues with pre op diet?

  • Author

I think I'm doing ok. Lost about 47lbs so far. I think I'm having issues with finding foods to eat. Getting tired of just chicken. Don't really eat beef or fish.

Was your pre op diet hard?

  • Author

Not really. Clear liquids on days 1&2,

Full liquids from days 3-9

Puréed foods days 10-20

Soft foods days 21-36

And regular foods days 37-forever.

@jersey_girl_86. Who is doing your surgery at Lourdes?

Me too,. Jan. 5. But I'm having a major difficult time with the preop diet!!

@jersery_girl_86 I was only doing 2 protein drinks a day, raw veggies ans broth and sugar free jello and sugar free Popsicles. I was starved and I have headaches, light headed and nausea. I called the office and spoke with Barb the nutritionist, who I absolutely love, and she said I was suppose to be doing 3 drinks a day of the protein. So I will keep you posted. I'm going to add you as a friend. BTW, I love Dr. Medvetz and the whole office staff!!!! They have been wonderful!!!!!

I really love Dr medvetz and Malinda. Malinda has been so kind I feel has gone above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and helping me with the horrible process of insurance approval. Dr medvetz was recommended to me. My mother is the director of nursing at a hospital in north jersey and she asked a lot of doctors there who is good and who they would want their family to go to and they told her Lisa. So that's why I drive 1.5 hours to her!
