Protein Shake-Liquid?

This might be a silly question, but do protein shakes count as "liquid"? Do I need to wait to drink other liquids before/after consuming them, or are they part of the liquid I'm consuming? It seems like they should be a liquid, but not sure based on the nutritional content.

Thanks for your help!

@@Spooney Ha! I had that same question! I don't think I ever really got an answer, seeing as how they are a liquid that's how I treated them. The not drinking water is in part to help not push the food through so fast to where you can eat more so protein drinks won't be an issue....I don't think.
