Finally have a date, sort of....

My doctor scheduled me for March 17. That is a long ways off. I don't see the doctor again until Feb 9. I have all my tests done except my heart test. So now I will sit and wait.......... This part of the process is defeating. I have a massive hernia that I am waiting to get fixed after I have a sleeve done. Was just told that I would most likely have to wait for a year to finally get my hernia fixed, after my sleeve surgery. The frustrating part is that if I didn't have the hernia, I would not need the sleeve. Anybody care to chime in with their thoughts on this?

Question? ...why a YEAR after:the sleeve for the hernia repair? Usually the hernia is repaired during the bariatric surgery (sleeve).

Apparently it is way to big and I'm to big. Too much pressure on the hernia to repair it.
