4 days post op and hungry

I really think this is head hunger. I just want something to chew...I'm hanging in there I eat my cream soups and full liquids but

I thought I had a grasp somewhat on the mind hungry since I did well on pre op. This really kinda sucks. But I know there's a reason I'm doing this

I'm six days away and I can tell you that you are definitely not alone. I think I just miss chewing the most. I'm trying very hard to be good, but I did have a raw salad a few days ago. I'm hoping since it was low cal and no fat it won't affect my liver shrinkage.

I'm two months post op. Felt the same as you. However, I've had to relearn what being hungry actually feels like. I definitely get hungry now but once I eat all is good. I will tell you that it gets better. The surgery for me was not a silver bullet. You have to eat the right foods, the right amounts, and with the right frequency. But, I couldn't be happier with my results. I'm down 48 lbs. since my October 8 surgery. I kinda thought that after the surgery I'd never ever be hungry and that just isn't the case...with me. I'd say follow the doctors orders, take your eating and exercise seriously and you'll be just fine. Good luck to you.
