Introducing myself

Hi, I had my first consult today I went in sure I wanted the duodenal switch, but the surgeon felt the gastric bypass was better for me.
I started a medically supervised diet in October, so I am hoping my dr will sign off and let me count those 2 months so I only need 4 more months - if not, I have to have 6 more months. I've lost 30 pounds in the last 2 months, so I am hoping that continues so I will be that much smaller when I have surgery!
I have enjoyed reading everyone's stories and questions and hope to be active here while waiting.
