I had my 7 day post-op visit on Tuesday and my NUT told me I could start having decaffeinated coffee and tea already.

My hospital served me decaf the day after surgery. And btw not everyone is forbidden from having caffeine. Different doctors, different rules.

I know we're not allowed to have caffeinated coffee, but how long after surgery did you wait to have DECAF coffee? I'm dying for a cup of coffee and decaf is good enough for me, but I'm only just over a week post op and I don't know if the coffee is okay for my little pouch yet
