Coffeeee

I know we're not allowed to have caffeinated coffee, but how long after surgery did you wait to have DECAF coffee? I'm dying for a cup of coffee and decaf is good enough for me, but I'm only just over a week post op and I don't know if the coffee is okay for my little pouch yet

  • I had my 7 day post-op visit on Tuesday and my NUT told me I could start having decaffeinated coffee and tea already.

  • My hospital served me decaf the day after surgery. And btw not everyone is forbidden from having caffeine. Different doctors, different rules.

  • My dr doesn't restrict caffeine. ACtually, thats not true. He said "moderate caffeine intake". The hospital gave me a reg cup of coffee the next day. But it smelled horrible (and I'm a huge coffee lov

I am 3 months out. I now allow myself a cup of regular coffee on the weekends with my husband as that has always been our ritual. I drink no other caffeinated or decaf coffee or tea other than that.
