four more days....any other november surgeries?

The last week and a half haven't been too bad on the pre-op diet. I'm excited but at same time getting more scared each day. My thoughts are all over the place. Anyone else almost there?

I just had my surgery yesterday! I wasn't nervous/anxious until the day of. The first day of surgery I definitely felt out of it, but today I'm home and feeling better.:) just a little tired and my stomach incisions are a little tender.

You will do great! Good luck!

wow your home already? I will be in for three days. Congratulations and thanks

I totally understand! I had my surgery on November 11 and even though I previously had a lap band, I was nervous about this surgery.

I agree, I was sore and tired but not the overwhelming pain I was afraid of.

You will do fine, best wishes!

Yes, I was operated on Wednesday around noon and went home today at the same time! I try and walk as often as possible and sip Water as much as possible too!

I was surprised at how short the actual surgery part was (only 30-40 minutes). The prep and waiting is what took forever. They gave me something to help with nerves before going I to the OR which I guess is standard. When I woke up in recovery I did feel naseus, but that quickly went away with the meds.

Keep us updated how it goes! :)
