Day 1 Liquid Diet

Started my liquid diet today for my dec 3rd surgery. Things are going great except that my Keurig died this morning, so no decaf coffee today. Talk about a kick in the butt, ha!! Well, all is good and I will get a new one later this week. Wish me luck!!

Day 3 for me and I can only have clear liquids and Popsicles of course. I love the Popsicles, it's like heaven. I also have some hot and sour soup because it's high in protein and very low in fat. That seems to help along with the protein shakes. I am getting in about 600-650 calories a day. I am also catching up on sleep because if I can't eat, I may as well sleep. My headache isn't so bad today.
