Thanks... My biggest fear is that is won't work. I guess after so many years of so much failure, it's hard to imagine that something will actually work for me! I'm so scared that I'll screw it up, or it really won't make me feel full, etc. It's just really impossible to imagine something working.

I got my surgery date also. It will be 6/6/07. I have the same feelings and concerns that you have. Excited and nervous all at the same time. Can't wait to get started. I've already started to drinks protein shakes and 1 meal a day. Will start on the liquid diet on May 23. Can't believe I have to be on liquids for 2 weeks. :clap2: :clap2:

What you are feeling is soooooooooooooo normal! We ALL experience the same thoughts and emotions.

You are a nurse, the only thing you can really, honestly, sincerely, depend on is your history of education and research. The rest is a bonus.

You'll do fine. Just know, you are not alone!

Thanks! When my surgery was 5, 4 even 3 weeks out, it just didn't seem real. Today officially makes me under the 2 weeks mark, with liquids starting in 6 days... and reality is starting to set in! Along with a lot of excitement and a lot of doubt!

Well, surgery date changed!! It's going to be June 18, 2007. Was disappointed but just glad it's going to happen. Surgeon wanted to scheduled 3 the same day and that's the day everyone else could do it. Getting excited and anxious all at the same time. I have the same feeling that the others have.
