Is this normal after surgery.....

I am day 5 post op and I wake up in the middle of the night and every morning with severe dizziness and nausea . I do have at of gas that has stewed up while sleeping and hard to get out in morning but is this normal? Start every morning feeling like death and so miserable

Did you get a prescription for Protonix (Pantoprazole) from your doctor? That worked for me.

I got Zofran disolvable tablets for nausea and liquid omeprazole for reflux. Though not sure if I can stomach the latter again. Was a thick nasty syrup that made me gag so we will see. Today was better on the whole. We will see what the night and morning bring as they have been the worst. Thanks for everyone's support. I hope everyone else is coming along as well
