Five day post op

Hello, my name is Cara and I am five day post op from my lap band surgery. I had surgery Monday Nov 3. I'm still kinda sore, more so then I expected and getting to know my body is another factor. When I feel that tight feeling is that the restriction or gas? I'm just wondering what feelings should I be looking out for? I'm so afraid to eat to much or not enough and I'm trying to figure out when to stop. Right now I stop eating when I feel that tightness start coming on. Any suggestions or tips advice will be great!! LoL

Are you on liquids or mushies or solids?

I am on liquids still at 1 week post op. I tend to sip broths slowly and shakes... if I go to fast I feel pressure and wait a bit.

I would say when you feel tight just wait.... gas or restriction you should slow down and not be uncomfortable...

I would think the signals will get clearer as you go... patience! :)

Yea stop when you feel pressure .. It's sort of different later on as you heal .. but your stomach has just been stitched, you can always have more later :-)
