Hello! I am scheduled December 15 for sleeve surgery and I can't wait! Anyone else in Colorado have a December date? Anyone with Kaiser? Would love to hear from you and keep up with each other on this journey! I started thinking about bypass surgery over a year ago, and was approved last fall...it took me until this past summer to actually "begin" the journey. I was afraid of surgery and afraid of all that would entail (with my entrails, haha). I finally got over the mental hurdle and planned my 6 week classes, only to miss 2 of them and have to start over. I started another 6 week class, and then realized I would miss the last class! My wonderful instructor, Janelle, promised I could go to another last class in order to finish and be ready for surgery before the end of the year. So...here I am...chomping (not on my 2 week pre-op diet yet, haha) and ready to go.
