I just bought some resistance bands.....

Has anyone used resistance bands to work out. I work out at the YMCA as far as walking, jogging, biking, etc. I used to walk at lunch time at work but now that's it's getting cold I just don't want to sit and waste an hour sitting at my desk so I bought some resistance bands and I am going to start dong that at lunch time. I was just wondering how they worked for some people that have used them.

  • I used them but for strengthening purposes after hip replacement surgery. I got them from the physical therapist but I'm pretty sure you can get them at a sporting goods store.

I actually found mine at Marshalls. I got a beginner, Intermediate and advanced for 5.99 each. I can really feel it. Hope it does something too!

you can do a LOT of exercises with resistance bands. They're great for strengthening & muscle toning. They travel well; take up little space and are lightweight A good inexpensive investment
