I have lost a pound per day since surgery. I can hardly keep protein down though. But I am able to drink my water.

I am one week out today and will reach my protein goal for the first time and will prolly make the liquids also.

Sorry Smiley the previous post was for @@walkin'onsunshine.

Hematomas (not sure of spelling) are common no big deal. They can be uncomfortable but they heal just fine.

Sugar free popsicles are my new fav, my god they taste like a full course meal. I think I was really just sick of those shakes. I wonder what else tastes good, I'm going to have to get a wls recipe book like @@layknee did.

saw the doctor, he says its a hematoma. Lumpy bumpy because its where all my stretch marks are.

So glad it's nothing horrible!

Three weeks of mushy foods may be the end of me. I keep forgetting to add my protein powder and I'm just plain tired of the mush. Feeling crabby and sorry for myself today.

I so understand. I can't wait until 4 weeks out when I can have some food to actually chew.

same with me. And I was having some chest pain. One suggestion that was given to me was to prop yourself with pillows keep you from turning over while you sleep. And try to use support when getting off the couch.

Ok was just getting worried i came home Friday from hospital and read other posts no one else really posted something close to my pain well maybe the norm only feel pain when exerting stress on that side thanks

My sharp pulling pain is on my right side when getting up, right under the rib there. My large hematoma is on my lower left. today is 7 days post op. I have one more dose of Lortab and I am still very sore, but as doc said, no refills. so worried about how I am gonna be by end of day tomorrow.

Wanna see the hematoma, it is not pretty, right on the apron/skirt of fat.
