Sure maybe a hematoma but no pain when pressing down over it or very little pain I only use pain med at bedtime

I feel the pain now too, not bad at all but just uncomfortable, my pain meds ended yesterday morning and my son elbowed my incision a few times, he needed to sleep on me and I let him because he doesn't understand that he can't anymore and he was usto it before so I didn't want to take that away from him, also the glue fell off now my incisions are like raw. My post op is tomorrow and I'm going to ask for more or something lighter that will help because tylenol isn't doing anything for me. I felt a pull yesterday while getting up from bed and in the mornings I feel very sore, I was also very dizzy today like a floating feeling.

Sorry Bronxmerci... I have my 2 week post op tomorrow and have had no pain since about day 4. I am so sorry.

@@walkin'onsunshine its okay, I'm glad you are doing well! Hopefully it gets better, I've been walking 3 miles a day since friday to relieve some of the pain. Whàt can yoù eat so far? We all have so many differrent plans.

Post op 7 days left side abdominal pain when getting up from couch or turning in bed walking short distances feels like its stretching tearing pain an others advice?

I had the same thing, only on my right side. It is still a bit sore while bending but has been much better the last few days. I use to have to hold a pillow while deep breathing/coughing because of the pain. It will get better soon.

I am the same sleeved 4th oct can't keep much down really struggling with protein and have lost 1lb a day since surgery - In total 22lb post op

I'm scared. Some chest pressure since last night. It's that full feeling you get but it won't go away.

Hey everyone!

So I'm 12 days out and still have some pain in the upper right incision when I try to stand straight up. The band they gave me in the hospital helps a little. Anyone else having this problem?

I used a wedge pillow under my legs while I slept for the first two weeks. I found it was easier than wedging my back up. I had my knees super high almost almost perpendicular while I slept lol????

The pain while walking is normal. You can ask your doc for more meds if its too much to get around the house.

I'm at the point where I'm trying to wean myself of pain meds and trying to do 2 miles of walking daily. (My neighborhood is gorgeous right now! Photo below) It fucking hurts???? but every day gets s little better I think cause the walking stretches out the damaged muscles in my abdomen and makes the next time a little easier.

Have you called your Dr. Office?

Have you called your Dr. Office?

am about to.

Hi everyone! I have been so busy the last few days, I haven't been able to keep up with everyone here. How is everyone doing? I had my Pre-Op Education at my Bariatric Office yesterday and got my 'before' picture taken. Thursday is my appointment at the Hospital to pre-register and then Friday I have my appointment with the surgeon. The 29th is going to be here before I know it! I'm trying to get things finished up and caught up at work since I will be out for a few weeks. I was talking to one of the girls at work that I am also friends with this morning and told her that she will have to come visit me while I am home recovering. She laughed and said, 'yeah, I will come and bring you food'. REALLY?? That really pissed me off. Why in the world would anyone say that to someone who is getting ready to have Weight Loss Surgery. She knows I won't be able to eat 'normal' for a while. Ugh...that just frustrated me.

Oh well...I hope everyone has a great day!

Kim

I am 6 days post-op and I am really struggling with getting all my vitamins and protein in. I also have never eaten the full 2 ounces at any given time. Is this normal? Any advice?

They may not be sensitive to what you're going through. She probably believe she was just making a lighthearted joke. Like I say, just let it roll off of you like water off a ducks back. You don't want to go in with any type of stress it's not helpful.
