How does your body react when you eat something your sleeve doesn't agree with yet?

7 days post op today. I am supposed to be on Clear liquids until I see my doctor (Thursday).. However I was super tired of my four options (Water, broth, sf Jello and Protein shakes) so I thought I would step out the box and strain some of my moms chicken Soup. After I drank it maybe 20 minutes, I felt my vision go fuzzy (I could see but there was "noise" in my vision) and my head began to hurt. I took my pain meds and took my blood pressure which read normal. Anyone else have this happen before? I'm wondering if this is my body telling me something in the soup, I'm not ready for yet.

Any thoughts? How does your body react?

I am 3 1/2 months, but honestly I take careful bites if I eat red meat. It is pretty hard to digest. I limit meat to very special occasions. I much prefer to stay with ground up hamburger or chicken salad. That stuff goes down much easier!

lol that's good to know. I'll try it a few months out and see how it goes. Thank you!
