Primary Care Dr not Clearing for Surgery

Has anyone had issues with their Primary Care Dr not approving them of surgery? I have been approved from my Insurace, had my pre op and am scheduled for Oct 14th surgery, but my Primary is concerned my white blood cells are high and this could prevent me from surgery. Everything else was ok and I was only 1 point off of the normal rate

Well is there something that can be done to fix this? What has your PCP suggested? Is this something that you have experienced before? Try to get some answers.

My white cells always run a little high. My doc did lots of testing and it's fine. I hope they can straighten it out, I may be in similar situation and it's so frustrating!

Im going for my 3rd blood test today then have the Dr appointment tomorrow so we will see how it comes out. After all that this process takes emotionaly out of you to have this happen will be devistating. I have never had high white blood cells as I can think of this is new to me.
