Time between meals?

How long are you supposed to wait in between meals? Does anyone know how soon your stomach is empty after a meal? I don't feel hunger anymore so it's hard to tell. Thanks.

I was told to eat every 2-3 hours in the early weeks, but once my stomach is healed and can I can eat more in one sitting, I should cut down on snacking.
