Severe stabbing pain right side under the jp drain area esp. When I bend over but even lying down it throbs.. it almost brings me to my knees anyone have any thoughts?

I had a similar pain and it was nothing. Call and ask your surgeon just to be safe

Thanks kimteehee I didn't think I was leaking because I wasn't sick, but it's reassuring to know someone else has had the same issues.

I agree that you need to contact your surgeon, it's probably nothing but I always prefer to be on the safe side! Let us know what they say and good luck

Mine was different though. I had major complications. Spent 6 wks in hospital. I had a twisted bowel and leak. Believe me you will know if it's major.
