Vegetable Protien Supplements

I know that everyone says that we should be using whey protien supplements, but I think that whey causes my arthritis to hurt worse, it causes me to have inflamation. Has anyone ever heard of using a vegan supplement like Vega to use for shakes and things to get their protien in?

Peace,

Laura

I can't stand Vega, but I do like the Peaceful Planet pea/hemp Protein. If you go on Amazon and just do a search for "vegan protein powder" or "pea protein," you'll find quite a few of them.

Vega protein is so horrible to me....but I guess everyone's taste is different so maybe you'll tolerate it. Whole Foods offers single packets of Vega protein powder if you want to try it before committing to a huge container of it.

But is this type of protien as good as the whey? I don't want to get by body in trouble by going with the veg, but I don't like the arthrtis either.

Peace,

Laura
