Just have two classes left then seeing the sergeon What happens next ?

SO I have met with the nutritionist twice, seen the Doctor and now seen the Psychiatrist. The next step is I have two classes scheduled and then if everyone signs off I see the surgeon. But now my question is once I see the surgeon what's next ? Is he/she going to have me do a whole bunch of testing or will it be more of getting insurance approval and scheduling my surgery date ???? Please help me understand.

For me after I got my approval, I scheduled the surgery date and the pre op appointment. At the pre op appointment, I talked with the surgeon, then when to meet the anesthesiologist. He ordered a few blood tests since it had been six months since the last ones. I’m on a two week phase 2 liquid diet and the day before I will be on a clear liquid diet. My surgery is on 9/23.

Sometimes insurance wants a few more things done before they get approval, but that didn’t happen for me. My dietician said sometimes they want exercises records or a few more pounds lost before approval. It took two weeks for my approval. Once you get approval everything will happen quickly. The best things is to not worry about it. These things can take time and worry can cause different problems. Remain strong, you got this! :)

Hope this helps.
