Yep. It's carb, gluten, and sugar withdrawal all at once. Oh .. and if you are / were a coffee drinker ... it's also caffeine withdrawal. You'll feel like a new person by day 7. By day 7 post op, you'll be irritating your friends and family with how happy and wide awake you are in the mornings. :D

I was a diet coke drinker like no one else!! I didn't want to go through the withdrawals from stopping it and post surgery at the same time. I stopped drinking it about a month before my surgery and it was so bad!!! Made me realize what the junk had been doing to my body!! Was banded in July and I honestly have not craved it once. I am so happy to not be drinking it anymore. You will have some not so fun symptoms withdrawing from all the garbage we have put in our bodies but it is so worth it. Keep on moving forward:):)!!
