Weight Gain from Prednisone

Ughh. I've gained three pounds from the Prednisone I'm on right now. And I've got about 6-7 days left on this medicine. Please let this just be because of the medicine and not let me gain that much more. Hopefully will lose it once the medicine is done, but I'd been doing so good, so it's disappointing for the time being.

Relax, you only have a few more days on that awful drug. My sister-in-law has lupus and took prednisone for 12 months. That little lady of 4' 8" looked like the Michelan man. Every joint ached and she swelled up like a balloon. She has done this tour of duty twice to have two wonderful children. She slimmed right down after with little side effects. Hang in there.
