Good afternoon.... My sleeve surgery is on August 27 and I am quite nervous and excited. Here is my question ... My surgery will be on a Wednesday . I am a teacher ... Was wondering what I will feel like in a week and do you think I can go back to work. I know everyone is different but I just wanted an idea when some of you went back to work. Thanks for any input I can get. Alyce

Hi Alyce! It's hard to tell, it really is different for everybody. I was sleeved on Tuesday, and back at work the following Monday. I had a pretty easy recovery, for which I'm very grateful. And I have a desk job. But a friend who was sleeved the same day as me by the same doctor was back at work that day, and she's a nurse. She said she did ok, but was just more tired than normal, but that she thought all the walking had made her feel better.

Good luck!!

I was sleeved on a Wednesday and took a total of right working days off. I could have gone back sooner, I'm sure. But I was definitely tired at the end of the day and I would come home and rest until bedtime. That must have lasted about another week.
