Approved!

I am officially approved for my October 13th sleeve!! I am so excited! I'm most nervous about the 2 week pre-op liquid diet. I'm also nervous about the recovery because my son will only be 10.5 months old so I won't be allowed to lift him. But I just keep telling myself that it will all be worth it! I can't wait for a healthier me and all that will come with that. Any other October sleevers?

Congratulations!! I can't wait until I get my surgery date. I might be in Oct too, though I am hoping for sometime in Sept.

Do you have someone to help with your son? How long before you can lift him? I am sure 6 months from now it will be totally worth it!

Not a sleever, but so happy for you! You're life is going to change right before your eyes :)

My mom and husband will be there to help with my son. I'm not allowed to lift over 10 lb for the first 2 weeks and nothing over 20 lbs until after 4 weeks. My son is already the size of am average 2 year old (big boy of 24 lbs and 29 inches tall) so I won't be able to lift him for probably 5 weeks. But hopefully once the incisions are healed I will still be able to cuddle as long as someone lifts him for me. That's what I'll miss the most. But it will be so worth it!
