My Journey

My journey began in July of 2013.

I finally had my surgery June 23, 2014.

I'm 6 weeks post op & have lost 50#since surgery & 62 overall.

The first month was rough. My incisional pain was bad. But I NEVER had the shoulder pain from the gas.

In the past few days my stomach has begun allowing 1/4C of food an increase of 2 T! I still get full really fast.

At my last appointment chicken & fish were added back! I still drink one Protein shake a day, other wise my protein total is too low!

I was able to sleep in my bed on my back for the first month. Now I can lie on my side.

I'm able to walk 1/2 mile/day.

I'm slowly returning to good health!

I had one ER visit for dehydration about 3 weeks ago.

Best wishes for a return to health!
