fitbit

Just prior to surgery I bought myself the fitbit flex to help me along. I am looking for some friendly competitors or friends that want to encourage one another and keep one another on task. Mind you, I am just a week and a half post op so I won't be running any marathons for quite some time, but if anyone is interested you can shoot me a message and I will add you as a friend with your info. I am not interested in just broadcasting this across facebook at random.

Thanks all.

One thing nice about fitbit is that you can compete against yourself. If you want to add more self competition start the couch to 5K program. It will have you in shape for your first 5k in ten weeks. Then you can run agaist others of go for your personal best time. After that who knows maybe work up to 10K or more. That being said fitbit has been a great tool for me. I also use it to track my daily food intake.

I'm going to purchase one and would love to be "buddies" once I get it. My surgery is scheduled for the 15th.
