What do you mean by "I am able to eat normal foods."? Your surgeon/nutritionist has already cleared you to eat solids at 3 weeks? Maybe to avoid overeating, portion out the amount of food you should eat instead of eating out of a larger container or off a larger plate than you need?

I was the same way early out. Might help to count the bites you take for different foods and see if there is a pattern of when the pain starts, then just eat one or two bites less than that. Its very common and it will pass!

Thanks for the advice! I eat on a little plate but I guess the normal habits of eating mouthfuls of food is just a hard habit to break . I will get there. Trial by error I guess
