I'm making it...

Hi everyone

I have been low key about myself since my sleeve, on July 30th. Surgery day was awesome. In/out surgery 1 hour 1/2 total. Truly, I had some difficulties for the first couple of nights. But was released to go home this past Saturday. Besides being sore (norm) the incision areas are "itchy" & healing well.

Family is helping. But nothing like mommas' help around the house. I am well on my way now! Woo-hoo!!

I had my f/u appointment today. I lost a total of 26lbs! Woo-hoo! Still sore, but healing well. To all my fellow sleevers' remain strong. It gets better with time!

Good luck!

Glad your surgery went well and such a great weight loss. Hope you keep feeling better. Nervous of getting the surgery in about one month. Helps to read your experience.

It is called "normal" to feel nervous. I thought at one point I would back out. Can you believe that??? There are too many cons on our side to go for a healthier you! Stay w/the pre-op/Post - op diets and various other directions from your doctor and you will remain on a good path.

Good luck!
