headache

I had my VSG on 7/28, and cannot get rid of this headache :-( I've been doing my best to get Protein and Fluid in. Do you suppose it's dehydration or malnutrition?

I had a banging headache for the first 2 weeks or so. I think in my case it was due to to few calories and my body learning to pull energy from itself and not eaten food and also ketosis (sp) it will pass just keep up the fluids and portion shakes

I too was sleeved on 7/28 & have had a dull headache. I'm chalking it up to ALL the changes my body is going thru. If it keeps up after 2nd post op visit I will ask about it.

could be remaining side effects of anesthesia, dehydration, or your body hitting the brakes from the shock of surgery/lack of calories.

i was sleeved 6/23 and whenever i wake up with a headache i track my liquids the day before and am ALWAYS short, like this morning...try your hardest right now to get your fluids, which is most important this soon after surgery. also report to your surgeon so they can check blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. good luck!
