I'm 4 weeks out and feeling really good.

Just starting to miss my morning cup of brewed coffee. Originally I was told Decaf only which just doesn't do it for me.

What have you been told about caffeine??

Also want to start yoga soon.

Anybody practicing? At what week did you get the clearance??

Thanks so much!

Be well!!

Eileen

I was cleared for coffee at my 8 week appointment, but had to pinky shake that I wouldn't go back to my old habits of 5-6 cups of regular coffee per day.

I am 8 months out now - I allow myself 2 cups of regular now and 1-2 cups of Decaf. I find too much caffeine will trigger hunger, so be mindful of how you feel afterwards. Find your happy medium!

I added coffee back when I got to full liquids. I have one cup every morning. I add a vanilla Protein shake with 2 tbs of generic benefiber and it makes a great latte for Breakfast. I also resumed yoga at day 8. I was told go slow listen to your body, and if it hurts dont do it. I had an active yoga practice so i was resuming my practice not beginning one. Look for classes that are gentle, save ashtanga or vinyasa flow classes till about 6 weeks out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
