Hey Jen - I am farther along than you - getting ready to have RNY on Aug 5th. But I am new to everything as well and would be happy to help you in any way I can! Where are you at in the process?

I went to the seminar last wk and met with the surgeon yesterday... I have next nut appt and my psychiatrist appt on the 19th

Hi Jen I have my first appointment tomorrow so you and I are in the same boat. I'll be your buddy.

Are you on the app or on your computer? If you're on the computer then just click my name. If you're on the app then you have to hit your menu button and hit open browser then click my name

About a month ago I got the okay to see the surgeon. I go tomorrow. So I'm pretty much starting tomorrow.

Wow it took a month??? Mine was quick by the 29th of august I will have 4 appt done...

I just had my seminar last week too so I'm very new at this I'll be your friend. ????????

I am just starting the process of weight loss surgery. I have attended a seminar and I have my referral letter. Now I just have to get an appointment to have a bod pod done. A bod pod is something they do here to measure the body fat. After that is done, I can meet with the surgeon. I'm not alone in this. My bf is not only supporting me through it, he is going to go through it with me. I am however very nervous about the idea of surgery and making such a big change, but it is a change that I want and need.
