Found a cool personal blender...

I found this cool thing called a Tribest Personal Blender out on VitalityPlus website (http://www.vitalityplus1.com/). Not the cheapest thing in the world (~$65), but it is a single serving blender (I cook for just me) with 8 and 16 oz blender cups with lids. Great for doing single smoothies, making single serving blended foods. Looks like it will really be something I can use! You can also get a carrying case for the blender/cups. That's great for traveling!

I have the Magic Bullet. More power, less money!!

Magic Bullet is 225 watts and anywhere from $50-$65, this Vita one is only 200 watts and was it $65? Yep, MB is more watts and does have a few accessories.

But, this one from Walmart.com http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3609512 is $17.72 or on brylanehome.com http://www.brylanehome.com/product.aspx?PfId=71699&producttypeid=1&DeptId=7498&PurchaseType=G it's $19.99

and it is 350 watts so if anyone hasn't purchased a blender yet, it's worth a consideration.

I was going to get the Magic Bullet, but saw this one at Walmart. It was under $14 and it is perfect for mixing the Protein shakes! I've been using it 4-5 times a day for the last week and this thing rocks!

I have this one too and it's 2 years old. I use it ALL the time. ~Mandy

you know when I first saw a magic bullet commercial I spit out my drink in laughter. Its the name. I still think its hilarious. You see, I automatically think of a vibrator when I hear magic bullet. I'm not the only one I know who first thought of that either-- my friends were the same way. We figure someone in marketing brought it up as a joke but it somehow stuck.

We have a regular handblender (but I use my kitchenaid much more. The hand blenders just don't last long with me and my doughs. I was goining through more than one a year when I got the kitchen aid pro). It has a couple of attachments that we use a lot. One of them is a little drink mixer thing. It works really well in big cups. The only caution is to make sure it is deep enough in before you turn it on otherwise you will have splashes to clean up. We used to use it for milkshakes all the time, now it gets used for Protein shakes more. It also has a mini food processor attachment that we use. But I got a real mini food processor for one of my bridal showers (I never even knew they made such things) and I adore that thing. I've never even used the big one since. The little one is better for things like pesto and spreads that I whip up since I'm not cooking large batches and it even comes with a little lid so I can just stick it in the fridge.

I found my answer to a personal blender. Oster makes an attachment accessory that fits most of their blenders. It's called the Oster Blend n' Go 7 piece Smoothie Kit, $12.96 at Wal-mart and Amazon. It works just like the bullet, same idea, and I already have a blender with a stronger motor. One less gadget to clutter the counter and I have $47 in my pocket!
