Liquid pre-surgery diet going right through me!

I am on day three of my liquid preop diet. I can't manage to keep it down. I'm in the bathroom every 30 minutes. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am due to have surgery 8-8.

I would call your surgeon immediately and tell them of your problem.

They will be able to help you the best with this question.

Take care and good luck with your surgery.

Keep us informed of what's happening with you.

Day 2 of my liquid diet was like that.

Luckily for me though, my program only required 3 days of the clear liquid diet immediately prior to surgery.

Since you still have over a week to go, if it doesn't slow down I'd call your surgeon just like Chelly suggested.

Well, it slowed down. I must admit I really like the protein shakes. Yummie!
