Hard time taking my medicine

I have to take a lot of medications but there is one of my pills that is giving me such a hard time, and it is my seizure medication (one of them). My dr told me I can break them in half and it should be fine, but I have found that I have to crush them... so gross.

Last night one of them felt totally stuck and it was awful.

Does anyone know if it is always going to be like this or maybe I am just super swollen? I feel like it takes me 45 minutes to take all of my meds!

I gagged and threw up when I crushed my pills. I use a pill splitter and cut mine in fourths. You can also check with your pharmacist and see if it comes in a liquid form. Good luck.

Thanks. Imay try to split them even smaller. I had been doing them in half. They also come in capsules, and I am wondering if I couldn't just get them in that form.

I think capsules would be better. You could open them up and swallow with a bite of applesauce.
