Showering

My surgeon told me I could shower after two days, which was yesterday. So I did shower yesterday, and it was wonderful. Can I shower every day now?

Terry, that's hard for me, too! I've always taken a bath to relax every night, except after my c-section and now after this surgery.

I would just not let the water hit the incisions/bandages. The more you shower will probably make them come off faster.

My incisions are glued instead of bandaged. So I'm not sure how that'll work. My surgeon told me not to scrub and to just let the water run over the incisions, which was fine yesterday. Maybe I'll shower like every other day.

shower all you want to. just no baths or Jacuzzi's. that last one was the hardest for me. i was used to my hot tub every night and my doctor made me wait 6 weeks before i could use it again.
