7 years out

Hello! I am so excited to have found this app! I had surgery in May of 2007. Started at 286 and lowest weight was 168. I am currently at 214 and am starting fresh. I've been a rule breaker since day one and I was never educated or had any guidance post-op on how to properly take care of my new body! In fact, I woke up post op on the brain surgery recovery floor next to a woman that just had brain surgery!! Ya...anyway, I am glad to be here and would LOVE to get to know you all!!

Welcome Katiejeanne,

You should had regular check ups with your surgeon and nutritionist all of this time. To bad you didn't it might have helped.

It's great that you found this site because the people here are very helpful.

I hope you get what you need here for helping with your fresh start.

Take it one day at a time or if you have to one meal at a time and it will add up to great success again for you.

Take care.
