VETS are your support groups meeting your needs?

My group is lacking and I would like to know if anyone is having the same issues

1. Is your support group is meeting your needs? This question is for folks 1 yr plus since surgery.

2. Do you still attend support groups? If so why, if not why

3. Are the groups talking about topic of interest and concern to you?

4. If not what topics are important to you since your surgery is a year or more?

5. Are your groups facilitated by a peer liaison (someone who has had the surgery)? If not would you like to have one?

6. What would the topics be if your support group were meeting your needs?

I appreciate and anxiously await all responses

Looks like nobody's around from Oct 2012 group! I haven't gone to any support groups, but am actually going to my first one tomorrow! i've gained 10lbs over the summer, and from here, still wish to lose 30 more. Need to buckle down!
